Invitation to Give

We invite you to prayerfully consider a gift to our Partners in Grace capital campaign to build our new monastery. Gratefully mindful of your past support, we humbly ask you to help secure the future of the Poor Clares in South Carolina that we may continue our ministry of prayer and spiritual mentoring for generations to come.

Ways to Give:
Pledges— We ask that you please consider making a three year sacrificial pledge to the Partners in Grace capital campaign to build a new monastery for the Poor Clares. You may choose monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual payments to fulfill your pledge. Pledges enable the donor to contribute a larger gift than would be possible to make in any single tax year.

Securities—A gift of securities, to be held for The Franciscan Monastery of Saint Clare, may be made by contacting your broker and giving a written request with delivery instructions. If you wish to make a gift of securities, please contact the development office at 864-292-9650.

Planned Giving—Planned gifts represent a special type of support that benefits you, the donor, and the Poor Clares. Often a planned gift allows you to maximize your contribution and provides you specific income and estate tax advantages. Planned gifts may also offer you income during your lifetime. If you are considering a planned gift, please contact the development office for additional information and assistance.

Life Insurance—The Franciscan Monastery of Saint Clare may be named as the principal beneficiary of your insurance policy or ownership of the policy may be transferred to the community.
