Altar Bread Service

Monastic communities have a long history of providing Altar Breads to parishes, hospitals, retreat houses and other places of Eucharistic Celebration.  In keeping with this tradition we continue to supply top quality hosts in a variety of sizes in both whole wheat and white.  Altar Breads have been our main source of remunerative income since our founding over 50 years ago.  Lots of work, and love, goes into this ministry as the pictures we are sharing with you can show.

Sister Helen Godfrey manages the Altar Bread Department at the Monastery of St. Clare.  Sister Bernadette Cappola assists Sister Helen in this important work that helps support our mission of prayer.

We have orders from all over SC, as well as some in NC, TN, GA, VA and even up in NY, NJ and CT.  No place is too far away for our trusty UPS insured deliveries.  No order is too large or too small for us to handle.  We do automatic deliveries as well as "call when you need" orders. We look forward to expanding our Altar Bread service.
